The Bamboo Joint Set

Nodes cut into the body, the way bamboo grows.

Bamboo does not taper. It rises in sections, and each section is finished before the next one starts.

The joints are cut that way - each one closed off, each one complete.

Details

• Capacity: 300 ml (pot) / 70 ml (cup)
• Hand-thrown celadon, reduction-fired in Yixing
• Cut joint detailing
• Glazed inside and out
• Each piece has its own crackle pattern

Care

Hand wash with warm water and a soft cloth. Let it come to room temperature before pouring anything hot, and never move it straight from the fridge to boiling water. The crackle will slowly take on the color of the tea you drink; that is the glaze settling, not wear.
