The Heritage Set

The classic profile, made the way it was a hundred years ago.

No carving, no ribs, nothing added. This is the shape celadon settled into, and the one every other piece on this site is a variation of.

It is the hardest thing to make well, because there is nothing to hide behind.

Details

• Hand-thrown celadon, reduction-fired in Yixing
• Classic unadorned profile
• Available as a full set or a single piece
• Each piece has its own crackle pattern

Care

Hand wash with warm water and a soft cloth. Let it come to room temperature before pouring anything hot, and never move it straight from the fridge to boiling water. The crackle will slowly take on the color of the tea you drink; that is the glaze settling, not wear.
